Below are some frequently asked questions about how we work:

How and when will I get paid?

We pay via BACS directly into your account within 7 to 14 days of you completing an order and returning the EPC. No more waiting for months like you do with other panels.

The reason we are able to pay in 7 to 14 days is that we do not offer 30 day accounts to any customers and only accept cash accounts on a pay as you go basis. Every individual or client has the option to pay by Visa, Master Card, cheque or BACS and we will only offer you work that has been paid in full. With all of these methods of payment it can take 3 to 5 days for clearance into our account, but once this has happened it will trigger your payment.

We have an automated payment run every week. Providing we have confirmed, cleared payment from the customer and we have your invoice, you will be paid in the first run after the job is complete. All invoices must be sent to admin@epc-support.com before a payment can be made. If you do this you will be paid promptly. Note that you should NOT upload your invoice into our document system with the completed EPC. Doing so will delay your payment.

Please note that on occasions where the EPC and invoice are sent at the end of the week, the outstanding amount may fall for payment on the following payment run.

Why can you do this and not the other companies?

We do not run the risk of big losses by not giving clients like agents or management companies the possibility of running up large monthly debt. Nonpayment or late payment of invoices causes everyone problems, especially in this uncertain climate with nobody knowing what is around the corner. We believe that providing a low cost service that must be paid for up front is the best option for all involved. Centro EPC believes that cash flow is king.

Will I be given a login that shows all of my jobs and which have been paid?

Yes you will be issued with a unique account for our website, where you can login to view all the jobs that have been assigned to you. An indication of payment status is listed for completed job. All jobs are managed exclusively through our website and you will be required to login to except or reject any work issued to you. You must also upload any completed documents into our system using the same login (not invoices though which must be emailed to our office). We may also call you if an urgent job is received, however you will still receive an email to confirm and you must manage the job through our website.

What if a client disagrees with my EPC assessment?

We will refer any complaints directly back to the assessor who provided the EPC within 48 hours, and will expect you to deal directly with the client. Once both sides have come to a resolution we will pay you as agreed. If you require a mediator in the dispute we will be happy to assist, however we do find that direct contact between the assessor and the client is generally the best solution.

What are Centro EPC's goals and objectives?

We aim to be the most efficient EPC panel provider in the UK, ensuring everyone gets paid promptly, offering good service to our customers, with loyal energy assessors who we can trust time and time again. Obviously we want to earn some money too, but we are not looking for the big profits that some other panels do. You will see our pricing is low and competitive, and what we are offering to assessors we feel is fair in the current market place.

How will joining the Centro EPC panel help my business?

We will undertake all of the advertising to attract potential clients to Centro EPC using the best tools in the market place. There are over a 100,000 EPCs completed every month and we hope to take a percentage of this market and pass the work on to you, the Centro EPC energy assessors. We are looking for assessors to let us know which postcode areas they can cover throughout the UK, at the lowest price possible. The amounts we pay to assessors is available within our DEA member area only. We obviously have overheads we need to cover. For example, we work from a central office where we must pay for rent, staff, telephone lines, advertising, marketing etc, and we aim to make a small profit too.

Everyone is chasing work, and we believe that we can work with you, the assessors, to improve both of our businesses. We also believe that being paid quickly is very important and is better for your cash flow and ours. Rather than being paid more and waiting for months for your money, or worst-case scenario, not getting paid at all, we believe continuous work and cash flow is better for business.
